"The Foundation for Knowledge Engineering Worker and Systems Improvement: Learning and Implementing the Virtues"
Dr. Deborah Savage - University of St. Thomas
As a worker, supervisor and manager for many years in clean room production of USA based semi conductor manufacturers, Deborah Savage pioneered many successful productivity improvement initiatives.
Her workers were Asian and non Asian workers. The work ethic, habits and virtues of the various workers led Deborah Savage to conduct deep research into Asian Virtue and Western Virtue systems and to understand the drivers of work ethic in the technical workplace: the virtues.
Dr. Savage will present valuable knowledge and practical methods from her management experiences and her research. This knowledge will be elaborated in a forthcoming book that makes the business case for virtue based, knowledge worker productivity improvement at all levels of any technical worker based organization.
